Our New Backyard Patios

Here are some views of our new patios on the back of the house. They are still morphing and changing as we add landscaping, rearrange furniture, etc. Hopefully we will be able to purchase some nice patio furniture before summer's end.
The fountain area looks a little bare right now, but the azaleas and nandinas will grow and fill in the space before long. Knowing me I will probably end up planting some more flowers there in the meantime. Dad and I plan to put in two Crape Myrtle trees on either side of the fountain as well.
Here we used two old corbels and an old shutter to make a shelf on the house. It helps to fill in the awkward space under the narrow shower window.
We continued the garden theme with the accessories we added to the shelf- with flowers and birds.

Some shots of the patios

The odd pots are there temporarily as Dad has been nurturing lots of small transplants. We also have a couple Fig trees someone gave us.

Love the shelf! Great idea! The patios are beautiful! Yummy fig trees! I hope you are successful in growing those, Nonna has some and they really had a big harvest last year. They were so delicious!
